What is good email etiquette and why is it essential in the "real" world? How can having good email etiquette put you ahead?

 Good email etiquette is making sure everything is spelled correctly and there are no grammatical errors. It also should be typed in a professional way. Not how we text. It is essential in the "real" world because it can make you seem smarter than you actually are and it will give you a good reputation in the recipients eyes. It can put you ahead because if you are looking for a job and the employer gets an email that is very professional and an email that isn't professional, then he will obviously pick the one that is more professional.
